Copenhagen Offers a New Perspective on Motherhood

About the article

A campaign created by GINGA celebrates the many different kinds of mothers and offers a more contemporary view of motherhood, linking affection, identity, and the act of giving gifts.

Kopenhagen’s 2026 Mother’s Day campaign, created by the GINGA , is now live. It is based on the idea that being a mother does not define who a woman is, but rather adds to the many facets of her identity.

The campaign offers a more contemporary perspective on motherhood, recognizing that it coexists with other aspects of life. Before, during, and after becoming a mother, there are different phases, desires, and identities that remain present and are constantly evolving.

As its centerpiece, the brand presents a concept film that directly explores this idea, showing that motherhood is part of a larger journey.

“We wanted to move away from a single vision of motherhood,” explains Fernanda Fontes, CCO of Ginga. “There’s the woman before she becomes a mother, the woman who is experiencing motherhood today, and the woman who is still finding her way. All these layers coexist. At the same time, Kopenhagen, with its tradition and emotional resonance, offers the perfect gifts for every version of a mother.”

The campaign features product photos and videos, as well as digital assets that reinforce this message by connecting the emotional significance of the occasion with the act of giving gifts, along with content featuring influencers and creators.
