Smarties Brazil 2022

The MMA Latam Awards, which recognize the best advertising campaigns based on creativity and innovation, featured 16 categories in the 2022 edition. Where we celebrated the purpose of generating impact and cultural relevance through creativity and innovation, through three great campaigns, which were recognized and awarded at the festival, with the Silver, Bronze and one finalist trophies. 

The project "Swap Fake News for a Real Whopper®" for Burger King Brasil, together with the verification agency Aos Fatos, won the silver trophy in the Instant Impact category. The Bronze award in the Social Media Marketing / Creator / Influence Marketing category belongs to the e-commerce giant's fashion platform, "Fashion Trends" for Mercado Livre. There was also the event's most delicious and Instagrammable finalist campaign, "Casa do Recheio", for Brasil Cacau, also in the Social Media Marketing / Creator / Influence Marketing category.

The awards ceremony took place on October 18, 2022, with the distinguished presence of our Chief Creative Officer, Fernanda Fontes, one of the great references in creativity in the advertising market, who was invited to join the jury and take part in the great awards ceremony.

The event also saw an unprecedented initiative: for the first time, the trophies were eternalized through NFTs. Signed by Brazilian artist Adhemas Batista, who lives in Los Angeles, the designer has been one of the pioneers in the art scene when it comes to tokenizing art. The project was made possible by the consultancy TrêsPontoZero.io, Ginga's sister company created with the aim of promoting the web3 universe and belonging to the holding company GIRA.DAO.
